Aero modelling
To help understand the basic principles of aero-dynamics and how they impact flying object, the school runs the aero modelling club. Students learn hands-on how to make powered and non-powered flying object.
Cultural
While our history books help us learn about the Indus Valley Civilization, the Culture Club gives us hands-on experience, leaving no stone unturned, how to revive age old arts and traditions of India. The school has initiated the culture club to enhance pottery and puppetry skills of students, giving them an insight into the rich heritage of India.
Dharohar
To help develop a love for our ancient language, Sanskrit, the Dharohar club has made learning fun by introducing games in the pedagogy. From dumb charades to impromptu theatre, from letter writing to magazine publishing, this club has been gaining popularity in recent times.
Hot Shot
The aim and objective of the 'Hot Shot' Club is to let the students enjoy natural beauty and capture it on camera as well. They are taught various techniques and aspects of photography like correct angles, lighting and focusing etc. The students also take photographs of various events organized in the schools. The club organizes a photography competition and the best photograph is awarded a prize.
Mathemagic
Arithmetics is the queen of all sciences and doing Math can be fun. Keeping this in mind MCS started a the MATHEMAGIC club, for students interested in exploring special Math topics, sharing problem solving techniques and preparing for competitions such as Olympiads, NTSE, KVPY, IIT JEE etc.
Paper Scissors Rock
While some use a brush, yet other use scissors and glue to express their inner art. In this club, apart from origami, students experience and explore different aspects of art and design. It also helps develop motor coordination, thinking ability, expression and visualization among the students using non verbal activities.
RE-LEAF
Our eco club, Re-Leaf, is well known all over Dwarka for its active role in helping green the area. The office bearers and the members of the club conduct regular cleanliness drives. The school is a no-plastic zone as the Resource Captains, monitor and discourage its use in the school premises. The club attempted to make recycled paper from paper pulp in an indigenous way, figures were made from paper mache and displayed pictures and write ups on a number of endangered fauna of India. Skits and posters are a part of the anti-cracker campaign initiative.
Swagatam
The Hindi language club conducts a variety of fun activities to enhance language skills. The students are given a few key words and asked to develop a story or a poem. Debates, article writing, solving puzzles and role-plays are conducted to develop command and build confidence in the mother tongue.
The Free Radicals
The main goal of the Free Radicals club is to provide a fun opportunity for students to broaden their knowledge of Chemistry and to interact with other students who are passionate about the same. Students play many games like Ion Poker, Electron Battleship , Sci-doku, Jeopardy Game, Martian periodic table, Chemical housie and more. The Chemistry Club provides students a unique opportunity to experience Chemistry beyond the classroom.
The Riddler's List
The wonderful world of trivia, and the endless pursuit of general knowledge gave birth to the Riddler's List. Each week, students get to test their GK against each other, learn memorization techniques and prepare for interschool competitions. Skill levels from beginners to middle level to senior are catered for. Helping build wit and confidence, this club has won many laurels for the school.
The Sun-Dance kids
One of the finest ways to learn about our history is through its traditional dances. This club allows a student to learn the art of traditional dance, understand the history and symbolism behind the steps, and enjoy the culture and ethos of a particular region of this vast land.
Voulez-vous
Starting from grade six, students can join the French language club nicknamed “Vous Le' Vous”. Our club emphasizes both oral and written skills of the students through various activities such as JAM (Just a Minute), Extempore and Role Play. We also aim at preparing students for DELF (Diplome Elementaire en Langue Franaise) exam organized by Alliance Franaise.
