Mr. Randall Wayne Livingston
Vice Principal (Pastoral Care)
Randall Livingston enjoys working with students in all their diversity and their stages of growing up. Students have wants, needs, boundaries and are learning how to work with them. The challenge to excel still more motivates me every morning and carries me to the end of the day with thankfulness.
I grew up in a very pro-education family in the western suburbs of Chicago. India came across my horizon in my undergraduate days at the University of Illinois. I completed my first Master’s in Sociology in India and went on to teach English to speakers of other languages in the USA, India and Japan. I studied International Education at UCLA which opened up thousands of conversations and gave me insight into the multilayered world students find themselves in.
Helping students make decisions, live with those choices and run well the race that is set before them excites me. Student life in school lays a firm foundation for values throughout life. As the Vice-Principal for Pastoral Care at Mount Carmel Anand Niketan, I help students find the light that leads them in their footsteps, and which illumines their life path ahead.
